As a college student I am kind of detached from the whole iPad movement. Of course I use my laptop for social networking, but another main purpose of it is to write papers. The iPad, without a keyboard, would just be too difficult for that. So, no there is nothing astonishing about this blog that makes me want to have an iPad, let alone the iPad 2. If someday soon I did have the extra money and felt the suden dire need for an iPad, this blog made it evident that I should save some of my money and get the original iPad. The author of the blog blatantly states that there is nothing extraordinary about the iPad 2, compared to the first one. So, why would I spend that much more money on the newest version?

When I first heard of the new Ipad coming out, I had no interest in it because I already had an Iphone. I remember saying that I would not use the Ipad because it is, "a bigger version of the Iphone, it just can not make calls." So as I looked through this blog review of the Ipad, I was already not interested in the Ipad, and the pictures and review from the blog, made me even more uninterested. Why would a picture of a girl on the Ipad make me more interested in buying the Ipad? It has nothing to do with it in general. I really want to know when will we as a society begin to see that the Apple company continues to make newer versions with minor tweaks of technology just to get our money?

I don't think that I would buy the iPad 2. I think that it is almost comical that the blogger compares the iPad 2 to the the first iPad. Our society becomes so consumed in what the newest gadget is, but in this blog, the author points out that although it is a step up from the original, it is not that special. I think a major question that people ask themselves before they buy anything is, "Is it worth it?" In my opinion, the iPad 2 is not worth my money. Although the blog points out new applications and features, it really is not that persuasive. I'd rather wait for a "revolutionary" advancement that Apple will most likely invent in the next couple months.

I think that the blog presents the iPad 2 in an appealing way to consumers who are attracted to the technology craze. As a student who is not apart of that group, I look at it as just another piece technology. I did not like when the author of the blog was describing the "Smart Covers" that he bought for both of his brand new iPads. He said "it's the little things in life that really matter sometimes and this is one of those times", when in reality the gadgets that you buy for your iPad do not constitute as something that really matters.I do not understand the obsession over new technology such as the iPad. What is the point in buying it when something new is going to be invented a few months from now?

No, I am not interested in the iPad 2. The blog compares the iPad 2 to the original, searching for those who want to upgrade, not for those looking for a new source. I'm perfectly fine with using a laptop to get my work done and my entertainment satisfied, along with using my flip-open phone just to text and talk. I do not need to be attached to information, music, games, on-the-go 24/7 and become increasingly dependent on it. I'll just keep everything separate to discipline myself and spread tasks out accordingly.

A fan of the "touch" movement, I am fascinated by the new ipad and ipad2. Terry White explores the benefits and differences of the ipad2 that only further tempt me to purchase the product of such incredible, innovative thinking. The touch keyboard takes a little bit of getting used to, as well as accepting a completely new kind of technology, but the improvements examined by White are hardly minuscule. Though I feel that there is an abundance of merchandise that are extravagant and unnecessary for daily processes, the ipad series shows growth towards the access of retrieving information for a wide spectrum of people, this done both directly and indirectly. I believe that without following the advancements that have positive motives for human existence, one will negate the ideas said advancements offer, fall behind on the understanding of technology, and finally, have a pessimistic outlook on generations to come.

Although this blog presents almost all the improvement of ipad 2, I am still not interested in it. Ipad 2 is lighter and has higher speed than the first generation while the improvements are not so persuasive. As the author mentioned, "there is nothing in the ipad 2 is revolutionary". It seems that APPLE did not put effort in to the improvement of ipad. Camera and FaceTime might be the sparkles of ipad 2, however these two techniques have already been used in Iphone4 and Itouch4. Actually, there is another reason for the dislike of ipad 2. My friend bought one and she felt regret.

Ever since the iPad was first introduced I simply viewed it as no more than an oversized iPhone/iPod Touch. As I still hold tight to this opinion I am not persuaded by Terry White's Review blog to purchase an iPad. As he says while summing up his review, there is nothing about the iPad 2 that is revolutionary, therefore I am not jumping out of my chair and running out my door to go buy one. Although I am not in desired need to purchase an iPad, I can't argue that it is certainly an appealing, astonishing, mind bottling new technology, but then again when does Apple create something that doesn't have all these characteristics? The iPad is simply a product that is not a necessity but rather a desire or want. This being said, those who have an extra $500 burning in their pocket might as well enjoy the greatness of this new gadget while the rest of us sit back and wait for the price to deterioate.

Asking me if this blog make me want to purchase the IPad 2 is unfair because i already view the original IPad as a waste of money. I see no reason to own an IPad because all they are are over sized and over priced Ipods. Also if some one is purchasing one as a replacement for a laptop that just blows my mind because it would be much more difficult to use the IPad for a simple task like typing papers. My thought on the IPad is it's for people that just like to have to newest and coolest thing regardless if it's practical or not. To conclude I wouldn't buy an IPad 2.

I am totally not interested in the ipad2, for the future ipad3, ipad4, ipad5 are better than the current ipad2. Technology makes progress everyday and the new will replace the old one. Ipad1 updates into ipad2 with a bit change. Also, the ipad2 has several unnecessary functions like rear camera shot.Iphone4 has camera shot too, because of its portable. The ipad2 has huger volume than iphone4 so that ipad2 is not easy to take pictures. The camera shot in front of the ipad2 just use for having video with other people. It is inconvenient that people use ipad1 to have face time because camera shot at the back of the ipad1. I think the apple store should realize this problem before publishing ipad1. Beside those above, I prefer to use my laptop to do my homework, watch movies and some other entertainment activities. Laptops have larger screen than ipad, and have keyboard for typing. But if you just like watching movie and reading electronic-book, ipad2 would be your best choice.

Although the iPad 2 offers many new things the old one doesn't, it still has the main purpose, and the similar flaws. It is nothing more than a large iPod in reality. It does all the same things the new iPod with a camera can do, it just has a bigger screen. It is not economical to have one for a college student like myself because it is not a real computer. It doesn't come with a keyboard to do work on. I would much rather prefer to do homework on a computer where I have the keyboard and I know I will be able to access and print my work. Its also harder to hold the iPad2 while doing work or trying to read where as you can put a computer down and type or read. Having seen and played with the iPad 2 in person, it is actually a very fun piece of technology to play with. If i weren't in college and had the money to buy one, it would be something fun and cool to have. It is just not a very economically friendly piece of technology to have while in school, but can be very helpful and fun to have when you can afford it and wont need to rely on it to do actual work.

There is no denying that this is a good review presenting the main improvements of Ipod2, including lighter and flatter design with rounded edges, fast and higher quality of graphics, smart case which also can be a on-off key, cameras which allows Facetime calls, and HDMI. However, when narrating these revolutions, the author also honestly talk about something controversial, for example, "wifi only" and "It's too heavy to hold straight out for long periods of time". After reading this review, I think I am interested in buying an Ipod2. As soon as you buy an extra keyboard, you can have a new and conveient laptop. In addition, the personal sevice from Apple really become a strong persuasion. People might have problems in playin new technologies, it will be great if you own a personal tutor.

This blog addresses the versatility and “fun” aspect of the new iPad 2 with its new “Smart Case”, and “Face Time” capabilities that makes this gadget even more alluring, especially to me. But what I found most interesting is the different types of individuals displayed in the advertisement. Between the super model, average American woman and the African American gentlemen it broadens the scope of people it will reach by attracting different racial groups. Therefore, I can’t help but to want this new, savvy, technology with its awesome features and bright vibrant colors. Yet, I do at the same time see its impracticality in terms of being a college student with oodles of papers that involve a keyboard and a printer, but aside from that I still feel it’s a nifty piece of equipment to own.

The blog didn't want me to buy an Ipad 2. I believe that it is mostly because I didn't want to buy one in the first place. If someone, perhaps wanted to buy the Ipad 2 before they read the article, I believe it could possibly push them over that edge. Other than that, I thought it was an informative article and well-written.

Even thoug this blog doesnt' really compare the special characters between ipad and itouch but is clearly catch the shinning points of ipad 2 such as the camera app which truly draw my attention.
